China official Sep PMI rises to 56.1 vs 54.0 Aug
BEIJING, Oct 1 (Reuters) China's official purchasing managers' index rose to 56.1 in September from 54.0 in August, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said on Monday.
The association compiles the index on behalf of the National Bureau of Statistics.
A reading over 50 indicates an expansion of activity while one below 50 suggests contraction.
