Veerendra Kumar Dixit elected Registrar General of Allahabad HC

Allahabad, Sep 30 (UNI) Judge of Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district Veerendra Kumar Dixit has been elected the new Registrar General of the Allahabad High Court.

Mr Dixit had been appointed after the services of Svatantra Singh terminated.

According to a release issued by the Registrar General, Surendra Vikram Singh had been appointed as registrar of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad HC, whereas the former registrar Ashok Mathur had been made the district judge of Lucknow.

Lucknow's district judge Ahok Kumar Rastogi (I) had been elected the district judge of Aligarh.
