Three-day Global Marine Industry exhibition from Oct 3

Mumbai, Sep 30 (UNI) Over 425 exhibitors from 29 countries will take part in three-day International Maritime Exhibition (INMEX India 2007) being held at Bombay Exhibition Centre from October three, for exploring business opportunities in the Indian Market.

Mr Pradeep Deviah Chairman of the Trade Fair said here today that this is the 5th International Martime Exhibition and is being organised by PDA trade fair with a motive for exploring business opportunities in the Indian Market.

The opening up of the Indian Maritime sector to Public/Private partnership has created a potential scenario for increased business opportunities across the industry, he said.

The objective of INMEX India 2007 is to enable every single stakeholder of the Industry to benefit from the business potential of the sector, by facilitating the conversion of business potential into commerce.

All the exhibitors from 29 countries across the globe representing various segments of the maritime sector would showcase their products, technological advcancements, industry related services to cover over 6000 well defined and aptly drawn visiting audience.

The prominent visitors from Germany, Holland, Malaysia, UAE, Korea and Sri Lanka consist of ship owners and government officials.

The exhibition is supported by the Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, International Association of Ports and Harbour, Indian Ship Builder Association, Indian Port Association and Indian National Ship owners Association.
