Pleasant weather persists after long spell of heavy rain

Kolkata, Sept 30 (UNI) Weather in Kolkata and its suburbs remained pleasant today with traces of rainfall in some areas.

Alipore Met office sources informed UNI that the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 32.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 26.5 degrees. Humidity was, however, high with maximum being recorded at 95 per cent and the minimum at 65 per cent.

Met officials predicted that the sky would generally remain cloudy with possibility of a few spell of rain in the next 24 hours.
