New Collector assumes charge in TN district today

Thiruvallur, Sep 30 (UNI) Rajendra Kumar today assumed charge as Thiruvallur District Collector at Collectorate Office here.

Talking to newspersons here, he said he would ensure efficient administration and would take steps for the implementation of welfare schemes for the benefit of people.

Dr Kumar said the administration would focus on transparency and execution of duties in a timely and phased manner. No stone would be left undone to redress the grievances of public petitions, he added.

The Collector said efforts would be taken to maintain law and order problem in the district, without causing inconvenience to the public.

Earlier, the former District Collector Ranveer Prasad, DRO, Mohana Sndaram and Information and Public Relations Officer, M P Raja, were among others, who received him.
