41 IPS officers transferred by Guj Home Department

Ahmedabad, Sept 30 (UNI) In a major administrative reshuffle, Gujarat Home Department today transferred as many as 41 officials of the Indian Police Service (IPS) in the state.

Of these 41 IPS officials, 19 officials have been transferred with promotions, while 22 others were transferred in the present capacity, an official statement said here.

The promoted included Mr S K Saikia, who is presently Secretary, Gujarat Home Department. He has been promoted as Additional Director General of Police (Communication), Gandhinagar.

Other IPS officers, who have been promoted and transferred, are I A Saiyad, P P Pande, R P Priyadarshi, Sanjay Srivastva, A K Sharma, P B Gondia, C R Parmar, U D Joshi, Atul Karval, Pravin Sinha, V M Parghi, S R Bhatt, G S Malik, Hashmukh N Patel, B D Vaghela, J K Bhatt, A K Pandya and I M Desai.

The IPS who, have been transferred in the same rank, are O P Mathur, S K Sinha, K Nityanandam, T S Bist, K L N Rao, R B Brahbhatt, Raju Bhargav, D J Patel, A K Jadeja, Amit Vishwakarma, Brijesh Kumar Jha, K G Bhati, A D Chudasma, H G Patel, Nipuna Torvane, S K Dave, N D Solanki, D B Vaghela, A V Vasava, J N Rajgor, Ashok Yadav and Deepankar Trivedi.
