Repolling in a booth peaceful in Hubli-Dharwad

Hubli, Sep 29 (UNI) Repolling in a booth of a ward of Hubli-Dharwad city municipal corporation in Karnataka was held today amid tight security.

Repoll was ordered following violence near the booth yesterday during polling.

Police have arrested Eight people in connection with the violent incidents in which some vehicles were damaged and miscreants attempted to snatch ballot papers.

Official sources said, repoll in the booth was peaceful.

UNI
