MP Govt to retrace 'Ram Path' adopted by Lord Ram: Shivraj Singh
Jaipur, Sep 29 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to retrace and revive appropriately the mythological 'Ram Path' believed to be adopted by Lord Ram while proceeding for 'Vanvas', Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced here today.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Chauhan said his government had accepted the UPA Government's challenge of proving the sequence of mythological events of the Ramayana and accordingly decided to retrace with the help of historians and archaeological experts, the route adopted by Lord Ram in Madhya Pradesh while proceeding to vanvas(exile).
He said that team of experts had already started working for exploration and revival of mythological sites and places along the probable route in Chitrakoot, Satna, Sanghwad and Jabalpur.
He said after proper exploration his government did also plan to develop this mythological route as a religious tourism circuit.
Mr Chauhan was in the town to speak at the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha national convention this afternoon. He delivered a lecture on ''Ekatmawad Philosophy''.
