Meghalaya govt constitutes 4th pay commission

Shillong, Sep 29 (UNI) The Meghalaya government has constituted a fourth pay commission headed by K K Sinha as its chairman to examine the existing emolument structure.

An official release here today said the pay commission, constituted with effect from September 20, had been directed to submit its report within a year.

The commission would examine the existing structure of emoluments of state government employees and recommend a comprehensive pay package for them.

It would also examine the existing structure of pension and other relevant matters, the release stated.
