Husband, in-laws held for attempted murder of woman

Puducherry, Sep 29 (UNI) A man along with his parents were arrested on the charge of an attempted murder of his wife.

According to police, Rajendran of Sanyasikuppam had frequent quarrels with his wife Thulasi (27) and during one such quarrel, two days ago, he doused her with kerosene and set her on fire.

The neighbours took her to the Government General Hospital, where she was reported to be in a critical condition.

On a complaint from Thulasi's father, police arrested Rajendran and his parents.
