Heroin worth Rs 50 lakh seized, 3 held

Lucknow, Sep 29 (UNI) Police today said they had arrested three smugglers and seized 500 gram of heroin worth Rs 50 lakh from their possession in Kotwali area of Kannauj city.

Siyaram, Najmul and Ashfak were nabbed when they were on their way to sell the heroin yesterday, police added.

The accused have been sent to jail and a search is on to arrest their aides.
