Godavari Power plans Rs 235 cr investment

New Delhi, Sept 29: Godavari Power and Ispat Ltd (GDPI) has said its board has approved an investment of Rs 235 crore for setting up an iron ore crushing plant and other related activities.

The company would fund the investment through debt of Rs 150 crore and upto Rs 100 crore through sale of shares, it said in a statement.

The iron ore crushing plant will be of a capacity of 1.2 million tonns per annum, while the beneficiation plant with a capacity of 0.10 mtpa and peliatisation plant with a capacity of 0.60 mtpa will also be set up, it added.
