Congress urges military junta in Myanmar to eschew violence
New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) The Congress today deplored the violence unleashed on ''innocent'' monks and civilians in Mynamar, and said unilateral resort to violent means is most reprehensible and must be eschewed.
''The evolving situation in Myanmar is a cause of deep concern.
The developments there have deeply saddened all those who have faith in peace, democracy and human rights,'' AICC General Secretary Veerappa Moily said here.
He said, ''it is important that an all-inclusive approach is followed by the authorities for a negotiated resolution of all issues.'' UNI
