70.4 crore for infrastructural development of six districts

Lucknow, Sep 29 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has sanctioned Rs 70.41 crore under Urban Infrastructure Development For Small and Medium Towns Scheme for the infrastructural development of six districts, having a sparse population of less than 10 lakh.

State Urban Development Minister Nakul Dubey here today said Rs 40.41 crore has been alloted for the sewage and solid waste management in Ferozabad, while Rs 22.07 crore for water supply and sewage in Ballia.

He informed Rs 2.83 crore has been sanctioned for implementation of sewage and solid waste management in Muzaffarnagar and Rs 4.14 crore for water supply in Etah.

The first installment of Rs 6226.27 lakh had already been provided for infrastructural development of the six sparsely populated districts.
