Vigilance Bureau arrests former Punjab Addl Advocate General

Ludhiana, Sep 28 (UNI) The Vigilance Bureau (VB) today arrested former Additional Advocate General Punjab Harpreet Sandhu in the City Centre Scam.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kanwaljeet Singh Sandu of the VB, while giving this information to the media persons said that money transcation in the City Centre Scam was allegedly made through Mr Sandhu, who was Additional Advocate General during Capt Amarinder Singh's tenure as chief minister.

He said that the involvement of Mr Sandhu was established during investigations of City Centre Scam.

Besides former Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh, former minister Ch Jagjit Singh, former chairman of Ludhiana Improvement Trust Pramjit Singh Sibiya and some officials of Today Homes were the main accused in the City Centre scam.
