Two bogies of goods train derailed, train traffic affected

Godhra, Sep 28 (UNI) Two bogies of a goods train derailed today near the the Godhra railway station, affecting the train traffic in the Godhra-Vadadora section.

The goods train was approaching Godhra station at 0745 hrs, when the accident took place.

Several trains were delayed while Pashim express, Dehradoon express and MEMU were held up in Godhra and other stations for three hours.

Track supervisors and technical staff rushed to the site and removed the derailed bogies. Train services were restored late in the afternoon.
