PM presented with book on oral health and HIV-AIDS

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) A delegation of dentists today called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to present a book on oral health and HIV-AIDS.

Speaking to the doctors, the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of providing affordable dental care to all sections of society, the PMO said in a statement.

The Prime Minister said he often heard complaints that dental care was not within the reach of the poor.

Reiterating the Government's commitment to widen access to affordable health care to all sections of society, Dr Singh said, 'This is one of the key objectives of our Government's health policy.'' UNI
