One more infiltrator killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 28 (UNI) Yet another Pakistani infiltrator was killed by the troops near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said today.

With this a total of four heavily armed militants were killed by the troops in two different places in Kupwara district during the past three days.

They said troops of 56 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) noticed a group of militants sneaking into this side from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) at Kathwari Gali near the LoC. When challenged and asked to surrender, militants opened fire. The fire was returned and in the encounter one militant was killed.

One AK 56 rifle, three magazines, 58 rounds, one GPS, four electronic detonator, two mobile activated circuit board, one wire cutter, one pouch, one Rucksack, one Poncho, one water bottle and one Cordex Cord packet were recovered from the slain militant.

Troops of 2 RR Camp Dhaharmuna in the central Kashmir district of Budgam recovered one Pistol and one magazine from an open field at village Wahabpora.
