No part of state neglected: Karunanidhi

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 28 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today said the government was not neglecting any part of the state when it comes to industrial development.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Karunanidhi said the government had decided to allot lands to IT and ITES companies in Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Salem and Tirunelveli.

He said the government had initiated several steps to establish a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Nanguneri.

To a question, Mr Karunanidhi said the state had so far attracted a foreign investment of Rs 12,000 crore.
