Make bandh a grand success: CPI(M)

Chennai, Sep 28 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) today appealed to the people to make the October one bandh a grand success.

In a statement here, CPI(M) State unit Secretary N Varadarajan said the people should extend their full support to the bandh, which was called to defeat the disinformation campaign against Sethusamudram Shipping Channel Project (SSCP).

The people should express the sentiment that they were for the speedy implementation of the project. The people should support the bandh and ensure that it wuold be held in a peaceful manner, he appealed.
