Law students burn effigy of Vedanti

Madurai, Sep 28 (UNI) A section of students of the Government Law College here affiliated to DMK Students Wing today burnt former BJP MP Ramvilas Vedanti in effigy to condemn the alleged 'fatwa' issued against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, recently.

The students raised slogans against Vedanti and demanded his immediate arrest.

They also urged the Centre to take appropriate action against Vedanti for his remarks.
