Hindi Fortnight at 3 BRD Air Force concludes today

Chandigarh, Sept 28 (UNI) The two-week long Hindi Fortnight today concluded at 3 BRD (Base Repair Depot) Air Force here with the holding of a prize distribution and closing ceremony.

On the occasion, the Chief Guest, 3 BRD Air Force AOC Air Commodore SC Luthra, exhorted the defence personnel for propagation of Hindi in every sphere of work and emphasised the optimum use of Hindi language in official work.

Air Commodore SC Luthra gave away the prizes and certificates to the winners of various compitions like essay writing, debate, noting and drafting and self-composed poetry recitation and essay competition organised during the Hindi Fortnight celebration. On the occasion, Wg Cdr HPS Sarao, Group Commander (Admn) and Wg Cdr SC Khatri highlighted the progress made in the usage of Hindi during the year 2006-07.
