HC disposes advocate's petition regarding lawyers chamber

Allahabad, Sep 28 (UNI) Disposing a writ petition filed for the allotment of advocates chamber in collectorate compound, district court, here, the Allahabd High Court directed the District Magistrate (DM) to examine the issue in terms of a government order.

The order was passed by a division bench consisting of Justices B S Chauhan and Arun Tandon on a petition filed by an advocate.

On behalf of the petitioner, senior advocates argued that despite lawyer's chamber been constructed in the collectorate compound, allotment of chambers had not been made in accordance with the government order of September 6.

The bench directed the Allahabad DM to pass orders in this regard within four weeks.
