Former Municipal Vice-Chairperson shot dead

Imphal, Sep 28 (UNI) Former vice-chairperson of the Impha Municipal Council N Komlatombi was shot dead at her residence at Soibam Leikai in Imphal East by three unidentified persons last night, police today said.

Police said one of her daughters was also injured by the bullets and she was rushed to the JN hospital here.

Police recovered two 9 mm bullets and two live rounds from the spot.

The body was sent for post mortem to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, police added.
