Dreaded criminal killed in Darbhanga

Darbhanga, Sep 28 (UNI) Dreaded criminal Manish Rai was killed near Town police station area here tonight.

Inspector Radheshyam Prasad Singh said that the hands of Manish Rai was chopped off and he was hit on the head following which the criminal died on the spot.

He said the deceased criminal had unleashed a reign of terror in Madhubani and Darbhanga districts. the criminal, carrying some cash award on his head was wanted by the police in connection with several cases of dacoity,loot, murder, kidnapping and idol theft.

The incident was stated to be due to gang rivalary.
