CM wants road works by November

Hyderabad, Sep 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today directed the Roads and Buildings (R&B), National Highways and Grater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials to take up road laying works under GHMC jurisdiction from November.

While reviewing road maintenance works under GHMC, Dr Reddy said all the municipal and R&B roads in GHMC limits, including NHs should be frequently monitored and maintained well, a release said here.

The Chief Minister also stressed on better and coordinated efforts to avoid unwanted diggings of road for cable lying and drinking water facilities.
