Bandh: DMK, allies to meet tomorrow

Puducherry, Sep 28 (UNI) With the Madras High Court turning down the request to restrict the DPA in Tamil Nadu from holding a bandh on October one for the speedy implementaion of the Sethusamudram Shipping Canal Project, the DMK has called for a meeting of the allies tomorrow to take a decision on bandh here.

DMK Convenor and Former Chief Minister R V Janakiraman invited the DPA constituents for the meeting at the party office.

It was expected that the Union Territory would also observe a bandh on October 1.
