Admiral Mehta takes over as chairman of COSC

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sureesh Mehta today took over as Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC) from outgoing chairman and Army Chief Gen J.J. Singh.

Gen Singh handed over the baton of Chairman COSC to Admiral Mehta at a solemn ceremony held at defence headquarters.

A formal resolution placing on record a rich contribution made by the outgoing chairman was passed in the meeting attended by many senior officials from the Army, Navy and Air Force.
