UNICEF chief lauds 'Shaktiman' project

Bhopal, Sep 27 (UNI) UNICEF's country representative in India Cecilio Adorna has lauded the Madhya Pradesh government for launching its innovative 'Skaktiman' project aimed at total elimination of malnutrition among children.

Mr Cecilio, who is under transfer to New York, made this remark during a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here yesterday.

Mr Chouhan congratulated Mr Cecilio for outstanding achievement in children welfare activities undertaken by UNICEF during his tenure in India, official sources said.
