Six IAS officers transferred in Bihar

Patna, Sep 27 (UNI) The Bihar government today transferred six IAS officers including the Tirhut Commissioner.

Official sources said here Commissioner of Tirhut Sudhir Kumar had been shifted to Minor Irrigation Department as its Principal Secretary, while Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe welfare department Secretary Jairam Lal Meena had been sent to Tirhut in place of Sudhir kumar. Managing Director of State Tourism Development Corporation Rajesh Bhushan had been made Director of Bihar Education Project.

Another IAS officer Ms Rashmi Verma, who was waiting for posting, had been made Secretary of State Tourism Department and was also given additional charge of the Managing Director of the State Tourism Development Corporation. Principal Secretary of state welfare department Vijay Prakash has been entrusted the additional charge of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe welfare department. Principal Secretary of Human Resources Development department Anjani Kumar Singh had been given additional charge of art and culture department.
