Rich tributes paid to Udham Singh

Fatehgarh Sahib, Sep 27 (UNI) Rich tributes were paid to martyr Udham Singh during a function held today at the memorial to the martyr at Rouza Sharif, Sirhind, in the district.

In the function, Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Commissioner (DC) Alaknanday Dyal along with District BJP chief Lal Chand Jindal, SAD senior leaders Swaran Singh Chanarthal and Amarinder Singh Libra and freedom fighters Sardara Singh and Ajaib Singh paid tributes to the martyr.

On the occasion, the DC honoured the freedom fighters. He also flagged off a group of 100 youth in two buses , which will attend the function on martyr Bhagat Singh's birth anniversary at Amritsar.
