Jalandhar, Sept 27 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will flag off mobile train photo exhibition tommorow from New Delhi as a part of celebrations of 150 years of 1857 and 60 years of Independence.
A Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) press release issued here today stated that the train would travel throughout the country for eight months upto May 11 next year.
During the course of its journey, the train have 24 halts for different durations at various stations or places around the country including Amritsar and Pathankot in Punjab so that the maximum number of countrymen could watch the photo exhibition.
The exhibition train would arrive at Amritsar on October 21 and halt there for four days. The train would arrive at Pathankot on October 25 this year and halt there for three days to facilitate the public to view this rare photo exhibition of the freedom struggle.
