Nagaland to observe International Day of Non-Violence
Kohima, Sep 27 (UNI) Along with the rest of the country, Nagaland will also join to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi's Satyagraha Movement on October two next.
The Union Government has declared October two as the International Day of Non-Violence to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
The official sources said the main function will be held at Raj Bhavan from 1030 hours and would be graced among others by Governor K Sankaranarayanan.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, his Cabinet colleagues, legislators, senior army, police and civil officials will also participate in the function.
