Militants kill one, tortured another in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 27 (UNI) Militants shot dead one person and tortured another in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said.

Militants kidnapped Ghulam Rubani Awan, a driver and Mushtaq Ahmad from their houses at Pahlipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on September 25, he said.

However, bullet riddled body of Rubani was recovered from nearby field. Mushtaq was let off after torture, he said.

Police has launched a massive hunt to nab the killer, he said.
