J'khand Congress to observe Gandhi's b'day as Intl Ahimsa Diwas

Ranchi, Sep 27 (UNI) The Jharkhand unit of Congress will observe October two, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, as ''International Ahimsa Diwas''.

Party's spokespersons Alok Kumar Dubey today said padyatra would be taken out from all the district headquarters and a painting competition would also be organised by the youth wing NSUI.

The United Nations has also announced to mark the day as International Ahimsa Diwas.
