ITI student run over by Haryana Roadways bus
Ambala, Sep 27 (UNI) An ITI student was killed after he was run over by a Haryana Roadways bus at Kalka Chowk on the National Highway Number 1 here today.
The victim, identified as Sanjiv Kumar of village Mandavri of Yamunanagar district, was trying to board the bus along with other students. Since the conductor did not open the rear door, he fell down and was crushed under the wheels.
Later, the agitated students of the ITI gathered in front of the hospital and blocked the road. They stoned a police jeep and two Haryana Roadways buses and damaged the vehicles badly.
Police said the driver and the conductor of the bus and three students were arrested.
