HSBC to form China insurance JV with National Trust
TAIPEI, Sept 27 (Reuters) HSBC Holdings, Europe's biggest bank, said on Thursday it plans to form an insurance joint venture in China with National Trust.
HSBC executives made the comments during a news conference in Taipei.
Earlier in the day, a senior company official told Reuters HSBC had received government approval to form the venture in China, as part of its plans to broaden its presence in the fast-growing Asian region.
