Franco-German documentary film festival from 5th Oct

New Delhi Sep 27 (UNI) The Embassy of France in India, the Embassy of Germany, Max Mueller Bhavan/Goethe-Institute and alliance are organising a festival of documentary films from ARTE, the Franco-German TV network under the banner "The world through ARTE's eyes" from October 5 to 11.

Apart from New Delhi, the film festival will also be held in Chandigarh, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai where both Max Mueller Bhavan and Alliance Francaise have their centres, a press release said.

The films will feature the effects of globalisation on people from different backgrounds and their working conditions as well as migration to Europe, stories from South Asian countries, world music and cinema in this festival.

The films are shot in different countries such as Mali, China, North Korea, Haiti, Afghanistan, Iran, India, Germany and France.
