Five students accused of ragging in Tripura

Agartala, Sep 27 (UNI) Police today produced before the court five third year students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) here for torturing their juniors in the college campus.

The students allegedly assaulted two second year students because of their absence at the Vishwakarma Puja festival and the college authorities informed the incident to the police following the complaints of the victims.

Police said during interrogation, the accused persons admitted the crime adding that they will be forwarded to the court.
