DDA clears backlog of registrants with allotment of 3224 flats

New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) The Delhi Development Authority today held a computerised draw for allotment of 2534 LIG flats and 690 Janta flats, clearing the backlog of pending registrants under its live schemes.

While 2081 LIG flats were allotted under the National Property Registry System (NPRS) 1979, 453 LIG flats and 690 Janta flats were allotted under the Ambedkar Awas Yojana-19890 and the Janta Housing Registration Scheme-1996 respectively, a DDA release said.

All allotments were made as per priority list of registration maintained under the schemes. The draw was held for allotment of specific flats to the registrants.

The LIG flats were mainly allotted in Dwarka, Lok Nayak Puram, Narela and Rohini, among other areas. The Janta flats were allotted in Dwarka, Narela, Nasirpur, Shivaji Enclave Extension, Priyadarshani Vihar etc.

The draw was held in the presence of the judges who were not employees of DDA at Vikas Sadan this morning.

The demand-cum-allotment letter will be issued in due course.

The result of the draw has been displayed at the reception counter D-Block, Vikas Sadan, INA, New Delhi and has also been posted at DDA website www.dda.org.in, the release said.
