Amitabh Bachchan invited to visit Iran

New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) The Iranian government has invited super star of Hindi films, Amitabh Bachchan, and his family to visit Iran, an official of the Iranian embassy here said today.

The official told UNI that the invitation had been extended to Bachchan and his family on the occasion of Tourism Week beginning from today till October three.

The invitation was extended with the intention of giving a boost to bilateral relations and the country's tourism industry, he said.

During the Tourism Week, various programmes are being organised to highlight Iran's historical, cultural and tourist attractions.
