ABG Shipyard completes Rs 1,439 cr order of German firm
New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) ABG Shipyard Ltd today said it has completed the order for construction of 12 handysize bulk carriers of 35,000 DWT each from a German firm worth Rs 1,439 crore.
With this order, company's aggregate order book now stands at Rs 7,121 crore, it said in a statement.
ABG and Germany's Vogemann GmBH&Co were in negotiations for some time through ship broking firm Olivier Felter.
''This is a path breaking order and we at ABG are proud to have won this contract against stiff international competition,'' company's Managing Director Rishi Agarwal said.
