48-year-old crushed by Blueline bus

New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) A 48-year-old man was crushed to death by a Blueline bus in Panchkuian Road area of New Delhi district this afternoon, police said.

Naseem, resident of Bara Hindu Rao, came under the rear wheel of the Blueline, plying on route no 450 (Karol Bagh to Lajpat Nagar), while trying to get down, they said.

As the bus slowed at Panchkuian Morh, the victim tried to get down but he slipped and was crushed by the bus.

''He died on the spot. The accident took place at around 1600 hrs and the driver of the bus, Gopal, has been arrested, police added.
