Turkey business delegation meets AP minister

Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to India, Mr Halil Akinci, leading a business delegation of Turkey, met State Minister for Major Industries, Sugar, Commerce and Export Promotion, Ms J Geetha Reddy here today.

The delegation showed interest to invest in the areas of IT, Granite and Marble, Pharmaceuticals, Pearls and Jevwellery, Textile, Sugar and Tourism, according to an official release here.

The delegation also sought permission for direct flights between Turkey and Hyderabad to further strenghten industry and trade relation between the two countries, it said.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's dynamic vision and pro-active policies attracted major foreign investments into the state, it said.
