Spark Capital into institutional brokerage biz

Chennai, Sep 26 (UNI) Spark Capital Advisors, a South India-based investment bank, today announced its foray into institutional brokerage business.

Spark would also offer full-fledged investment banking services encompassing corporate advisory, merchant banking, securities broking and investment management, a company release here said.

Spark would leverage its strong investment banking background to provide equity broking services in both cash and derivatives segment.

By focusing on the hitherto under-covered section of south-based mid-cap companies that were part of outsourcing, infrastructure and domestic consumption, Spark seeks to offer institutional investors a plethora of new early picking opportunities and enable them reap rich rewards in the medium to long term, it added.
