Several trains to Howrah cancelled for water-logging

New Delhi, Sep 26 (UNI) Several Howrah bound trains have been cancelled due to water-logging in the city, the Northern Railway announced today.

The 2328 Dehradun-Howrah Upasana Express, 2332 Jammu Tawi-Howrah Himgiri Express, 3010 Doon Express, 2328 New Delhi-Howrah Express train, which were to leave for Howrah tomorrow will remain cancelled.

The 3040 Delhi-Howrah Janata Express and 2334 Varanasi Howrah Vibhuti Express remained cancelled today, the NR statement said.

Also, due to remodelling work in the New Delhi station yard, several EMU trains to Ghazhiabad and Palwal, and Kosikalan will be diverted to run on alternate routes from September 28.
