One held with 5.5 kg ganja

Jalandhar, Sep 26 (UNI) Police today arrested a person and recovered nearly 5.50 kg of ganja from his possession here.

Police said that Sita Ram, resident of Basti Baba Khel was nabbed with the contraband from Vidhipur Railway crossing in the city.

A case under sections 20, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act was registered against the accused and further investigations were on, the police said.
