Lawyers boycott courts in Western Orissa

Rourkela, Sep 26 (UNI) The functioning of courts in entire Western Orissa was today affected as the lawyers boycotted them demanding the setting up of a circuit bench of the High Court in their area.

A decision to boycott the court was taken at a meeting of the Central Action Committee of the lawyers at a meeting in Boudh on September 8 last.

The committee had decided to boycott all the courts in Western Orissa on last Wednesday of every month till their demand was fulfilled by the government.
