New Delhi, Sep 26 (UNI) Janata Dal (Secular) president and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda arrived here this evening amid speculation that he would be meeting top BJP leaders to discuss the issue of transfer of power in Karnataka on October three when his party is expected to hand over the Chief Ministership to the coalition partner BJP.

JD (S) party remained tightlipped about Mr Gowda's plans but Mr Gowda has gone on record saying that he would be meeting BJP leaders in Delhi.

BJP sources said there was no possibility of any meeting tonight as BJP president Rajnath Singh and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani were not in the Capital and the meeting can take place only tomorrow morning.

They said the BJP expected no problems in transfer of power from the J D (S) on completion of its 20 months rule term.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is expected to become the next Chief Minister as announced at the BJP's executive meet.
