Cunha's anniversary of death observed in Goa

Panaji, Sep 26 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat today paid rich tributes to Dr Tristao Braganza Cunha, the father of Goan Liberation struggle on the occasion of his anniversary of death.

Mr Kamat placed a wreath on the memorial and paid homage while the police band played the last post at a function organised at T B Cunha memorial at Azad Maidan here.

Panaji Corporation Mayor Tony Rodrigues, Bonifacio Dias, president of All Goa Freedom Fighters Association, Chandrakant Kenkre, president Freedom Fighters Association, Shiroda also paid floral tributes to the departed political leader.
